I thought I'd create a separate post for this bunker because I felt that it deserved individual attention. It was so fun to build and seemed like the perfect addition to the green.

Construction Overview
What a lucky dog to have a golf green in the yard! This green was constructed at a residence in Bowling Green. Ky. In this post I will briefly describe the process of constructing a putting green. I may not provide all the exact specs that are involved as that might get a little long and boring. The putting surface in the picture above is 3,700 sq. ft. built to USGA specs planted in champion bermuda grass for the putting surface, zorro zoysia for the approach areas and bluegrass/fescue rough for the rest of the surrounding area.
